Happy Half Birthday!

Aleena's been in our lives for 6 months now and it really seems like she was born yesterday. I can't believe how time just speeds up. She is such a little lady, very gentle and sweet. She gives the best wet kisses and hugs, only when she wants to though. She doesn't mind when we attack her with kisses, which is good because it's pretty much all the time. She laughs at the most random things: Kolby the dog, my mom talking and a history book on war. She does love to fly in the air with her dad's help, and can't get enough of playtime with him. She brightens up whenever he is in the room and gets so distracted when she is supposed to eat if he's there. She just wants to play with him. She's starting to pose and smile for the camera now, which is really cute. We are so blessed to have Aleena in our lives. She makes everyday worthwhile. Especially at the end of the day when she's fallen asleep in my arms. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Milestones:
Her first tooth broke through.
Sitting up on her own for a few minutes.
Reaches and grabs for everything.
Wants to eat what we're eating.
Makes raspberries with her mouth.
Shakes her rattle and often hits herself and her mom with it.
Gives wet kisses and bear hugs.

She loves ice cream.


Smiles.


Sitting up.


Teething hurts. Ouch!
