I love camping, but I was dreading camping with our baby. I was worried she wouldn't be able to sleep or would be too cold and would cry all night. It went better than I could have imagined. She loved being outdoors and loved the bonfire. My only complaint was that our campsite was next to a train. Crazy huh? It was hard for her to fall asleep at first with all the noise, but once she did she slept through the night. Yay! Matt and I had a great time and can't wait to go camping again. The company was wonderful and we ate delicious meals.

Aleena waiting for the action to begin.

Aleena watching her dad set up our tent.

I'm so glad Matt knows how to set up a tent.

Our camping buddies: Jimmy-James, Joe, Stephanie & Corinne.

and Danny eating corn.

The girls, Corinne, Stephanie & me, enjoying the bonfire.

Don't be afraid Aleena, there aren't any bears at the beach.

Joe making us yummy breakfast burritos.

Aleena testing out the water.

The boys had fun boogie boarding while the girls got some sun.

Looks like fun! You're brave camping with a baby - I don't know if I could have handled it!
Looks like fun, how BRAVE!! I would never venture so far, but I have a tendency to use my kids for excuses on everything, when I should probably at least try it out and see how they would do... Fun memories!
SO MUCH FUN!!! We need to hear all about your location- Matt has wanted to go camping on the beach since we moved out here... And of course the kids would have fun anywhere outdoors!!! We went camping once when Keegan was almost four- he entertained himself for 48 hours with a tree stump and a hot wheels car...
How fun to go camping. I still haven't gone with any babies. You make me want to try it though. Your daughter is very very cute. I think she takes after her Mom, but don't tell Matt that.
You and Matt have the best times! Bridget and I have tried camping with a six month old on the beach in California when we came down for your wedding in 2006 and that was a challenge. I am glad you enjoyed it.
