Easter 2011

We had the pleasure to spend Easter at the Marquette Manor this year. Our Marquette friends moved away a few years ago and when we get the chance to spend time together it's always a blast.

Piper had a wonderful idea to gather us all around to read about the meaning of Easter. She had strips of paper with the story of Christ and his resurrection inside each egg. The kids got to choose an egg to read. This was us in the beginining.

This is by the third egg ;) The kids were so restless. My kids kept trying to open up all the eggs to see if there was candy inside.

After the Easter Advent, our Matts went outside to hide the eggs. The kids were anxiously waiting for the hunt to begin.

And they're off. Isaac's not sure what he's running for, but just glad to be outside.

Surprisingly he was really good at finding Easter eggs. He found a few in the smallest places.

Aleena loved looking for the eggs on her own. Her basket was so full!
