While Matt Was Working in Argentina

Matt had the opportunity to go to Buenos Aires, Argentina to work with his company for three weeks. We tried to work out a way for all of us to follow. We even got the kids their passports. But things didn't work out. The kids and I filled up our time and played a lot. We stayed two weeks with my mom, since my dad was also out of town. It worked out perfectly. She got to spend time with her grandkids and I got the relief I needed.

We saw a free movie at the theater for families. Aleena loved being at the theater.

We went to the ward campout and just stayed for dinner. Aleena got plenty dirty and had a blast.

She kept trying to look inside the tents. I think she really wanted to stay.

She chose the skull and crossbones. She's so silly. The painter added a bow to the skull and a lady bug on the other cheek.

We took a trip down to LA to visit Serene. We ate lunch and went to 3rd Street Promenade, had yogurt and fell asleep watching a movie.

We ate ata Brazilian restuarant called, Bossa Nova's, and had delicious fish and amazing risotto.

Isaac was so good sitting there while we ate.

Leena loved dipping her bread in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

We went to Serene's house to watch a movie.

We got to attend the Redlands Bowl and hear the orchestra play "Peter and the Wolf".

Aleena loved dancing around and Isaac loved being outdoors.

We got to eat at Theron's Custard shop in Redlands. Yummy custard.

Tutu loved giving Isaac his bath.

Leena loved riding on the carousel at the grocery store.

We picked up Papa from the airport and he treated us to lunch.

I got to attend the temple sealing at the LA temple for my good friend, Laura, while my sister watched the kiddos. We also attended their beautiful wedding reception. Afterwards we went to Diddy Riese for some ice cream sandwiches.

The next day we picked up Matt from the airport and went to church. We were all exhausted and slept in until 9am. Isaac's first time sleeping through the night. Wish I could say he is repeating that cycle, but sadly no.

We are so happy Matt is back and we are loving spending time together.
