Cream Puff Recipe: I highly recommend doubling the recipe. http://www.lafujimama.com/2010/05/fuji-cream-puffs-so-quick-and-easy-that-youll-wonder-why-you-havent-made-them-before/
Chocolate Sauce:
I used another friend's (Lisa W.) recipe:
4 squares unsweetened Baker's chocolate (Iused a nice dark chocolate like Green & Black)
2 T. butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 C. hot water
1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
Melt chocolate and butter in microwave at 10-20 second intervals, stirring in between. Add vanilla and stir. Add sugar a little at a time, stirring in between. Add water with each sugar addition to make smooth. Spoon chocolate over puff.
For the filling:
I used my mom's recipe of 1 C. heavy whipping cream folded into 1 C. store bought vanilla frosting (this was the easy way out.
What I will try next is my friend Lisa's recipe
Prepare 1 big package of vanilla pudding (decreasing milk by 1 CUP). Refrigerate until set up and then add 1 small container of Cool Whip.
Go forth and make cream puffs!
Before they went in the oven. I just rolled them in my hands.
They puffed up, but didn't look too pretty.
Tasted even better with chocolate sauce.
Aleena loved it!

THEY LOOK PERFECT! Have you ever really paid attention to the "professional" ones? They look just the same. :)
If you want a scratch recipe for the filling just let me know- it is what I use when I make them. :)
Okay, I have to try this! They look awesome, and you definitely got Leena's seal of approval! Yummy! You are such an amazing cook, and I like how you borrowed from lots of different recipes to make yours so outstanding!
Those turned out great. I love making them. Instead of shaping them with your hands, if you just drop them from a spoon you get creative tops.
Did I email you my mooncake recipe one time? It's made with the cream puff dough as the bottom then pudding and whip cream on top, very good.
