Princess Aleena

We don't watch any movies about princesses or buy any princess related items (except for one), but Aleena has been fascinated with princess attire. At one of the "mommy and me" classes there was a 3 year-old girl who came with her mom and little brother. She was dressed up in a pink-sparkly princess outfit and crown. Aleena spotted her and crawled over to this "princess" and pointed at her crown and touched her dress. The little girl loved the attention. We switched activities and again Aleena crawled over to the little "princess" and stared at her and pointed at her dress and crown. It was funny to see her awe. A few weeks later, Aleena woke up from her nap and pointed at her princess crown sitting on her shelf. I bought this crown when she was 6 months old for my best friend's daughter's "Princess Birthday Party", and she never paid any attention to it before, so it was surprising to see that she wanted it. It was even more surprising that she wore it for a very long time when I put it on her. I had to take a picture of my "Princess Aleena".
