We had the opportunity to go camping in Catalina with some friends last weekend. It was more of a Father's Day present to Matt. He's been wanting to go camping, and this trip was perfect. He could be with his buddies all day spearfishing. Aleena and I spent our days relaxing on the beach. It wasn't exactly warm enough to my liking, but at least there was sun. I loved the campsite, we were so close to the beach, and hearing the waves at night were soothing. Aleena did really well. We were afraid she wouldn't sleep, but she was quite comfy and slept soundly. She loved waking up in the morning and seeing her dad and mom right next to her. She had a big smile on her face. She loved being outdoors and playing with the rocks and sand. It kept her occupied for quite a long time. Her dad is happy that she's a "happy camper".

We left early Friday morning and took a boat to Catalina.

Aleena was happy to be on the boat. She didn't get sick, and neither did I. Matt took Dremamine to be safe.

Her favorite game was to put rocks inside the bucket then take them out.

Aleena wasn't afraid of the fish that were caught. She would poke them in the eye and try to open their mouth. Pretty funny.

She loved the smores. And especially loved the campfire.

Reading a book before bed.

Matt happy. I'm glad he enjoyed his trip.

The beautiful harbor. The water was blue and clear.
