First Beach Day

I love living near the beach, because it gives us an excuse to actually go to the beach and enjoy it when friends and family visit. My sisters came out and we took Aleena for her first time to Balboa. She slept most of the time. I think she enjoyed the nice ocean breeze. While my sister was watching her, Matt and I escaped and took a walk along the shore. We saw a pod of dolphins really close to the shore. It was amazing. Too bad we didn't bring the camera. We then ate at Ruby's Diner on the pier, went to some second hand shops (they have really nice things because of the rich people) and then ate at my new favorite place "Cherry On Top", for frozen yogurt. This place is so awesome. You can choose from so many different flavors. Then you can add whatever toppings you want, and get charged by the ounce. We had so much fun filling up our cups with a variety of toppings. It was delicious. Aleena was so pooped, she slept very well that night. Almost too well that I had to get up and check to see if she was breathing.
