Dr. Appointment

Yesterday I had my 38 week appointment. I was expecting to be as tight as a clam, but to my surprise the Dr. said I am about 2-3cm dialated, 75% effaced and the head is really low. Woo hoo!!!!!!!! It's strange because I've only had ONE contraction that lasted about a minute and that was last Wednesday. I couldn't believe I was dialated at all. The baby is putting a lot of pressure of my pelvic floor, which makes it very hard to walk these past few days. It really hurts. Matt is getting nervous. He is working 12 hour days with little sleep, because he is on a big job. He's hoping the baby doesn't come until next Wednesday, when the job is over. The baby will come when she wants to. My family and friends at work are predicting that she'll make her debut this weekend. It could happen. We'll see.
