Baby Mayry

Matt and I are going to have a baby!! We are very excited about this new adventure. Today I am 10 weeks and I got to see the baby and his/her heart beating during the ultrasound. It was very surreal.
I haven't been feeling very well. I can't eat like I used to. Many foods make me ill. The only things I can eat are grilled cheese sandwiches, cereal, bean and cheese burritos, cheese enchiladas and chips and salsa. I love drinking water and Gatorade. I haven't gained any weight because of my poor appetite.

In addition to the constant nausea (I've never had just morning sickness, it's pretty much an all day affair) I am very tired. I want to nap all the time and go to bed really early. It's amazing how different it is to be pregnant. I thought I'd have all the energy in the world and would exercise and eat healthy. I did manage to do some yoga the other day. It felt great, but I was so sore the next day from lack of using my muscles. I hadn't exercised since the last week of July. I hope this all passes in the 2nd trimester.

Matt and I moved from our 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom. We love the space and we don't feel cramped. We are still within our ward boundary and we even walk to church!! it's about 5 minutes of a walk. Right now we're having a heat wave which makes walking a bear, but we still do it. Matt is still the teacher for the 12-13 year old boys at church and I got released as the teacher for the 12-13 year old girls and put in Primary (ages 3-11 boys & girls) to teach them songs as the chorister. It's been a lot of fun. I was very sad to leave my teenager girls, but this new opportunity has been a blessing to work with the little kids. They sure have a wonderful knowledge of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. They have a lot of love and I attribute that to their parents.

All in all, Matt and I are doing well and love being married and taking care of one another. We're looking forward to watching the baby grow, and await his/her arrival.
