When you Visit Idaho...

We had a fun visit in Idaho visiting Pop-pop and Nana. It was gorgeous and not too hot nor cold. Lots of hiking and Labor Day parades filled the week.
Aleena asked to roast smores so Pop-pop made a nice big bon-fire.

She also requested to go camping.  Matt pitched a tent in the backyard.  She loved it so much that they did it again the next night.  Isaac and I slept peacefully in our comfy room.
Aleena was fortunate enough to ride Hazel, the wonderhorse.  Nana had a friend who owns this horse and trains many riders.  He was so sweet to let Aleena get on Hazel.  She was a natural and grinning ear to ear.

Husking the corn for dinner.

Eating the berries off the bush was Isaac's favorite thing to do.

Aleena drilling holes for a craft at one of the Labor Day Festivals.

Taking a walk to the river and collecting rocks was a favorite.

He loved throwing rocks in the river.

My budding artist, enjoyed the outdoors and drawing still life.

And not so still life.  It's a drawing of Nana's dog, Oakley.
