Ward Christmas Party

We had a wonderful Christmas party at church. It was called, "A Night in Bethlehem". The guests arrived and sang songs in the chapel and were taken in separate groups on a tour. They heard the story of Jesus' birth through the shepherds, wise men, the inn-keeper, the tour guides and Mary. They asked Matt, Isaac and I to be Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. We were worried that Isaac would be crying, and brought Aleena's baby doll just in case. While I was holding the baby doll before the tours started, several little kids said, "That's not a real baby Jesus". So Matt and I decided to see how well Isaac would do. Surprisingly Isaac was extremely good. He was so cute as baby Jesus. After the tour we ate some food and the kids got to see Santa Claus. It was a great party.

The shepherds who saw the star and the angel.

The wise men.

Joseph, Mary and Jesus.

Leena saw me during the tour (she was with her grandparents) and ran to me crying, "Momma".

The tables decorated with cute Christmas trees.

We were so lucky to have Tutu and Papa there with us.

Isaac was a little scared of meeting Santa for the first time, but quickly got over his fear when he got a candy cane.

Aleena's still afraid of Santa Claus.

Through tears, she told him she wanted, "baby with a bottle."
