Eve of Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas with my family the evening before Christmas Eve, because we were flying on Christmas Day to see Matt's family in Virginia. We had a lovely surprise of my brother, Dave, and his daughter, Katy, visiting from out-of-state this year. My brother being the fancy professional chef that he is, helped make the meals. Yes, we love to eat around here. We had our Steak Diane for our Christmas meal and then Salmon Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Then we opened up presents. Later that day my niece and I spent quality time by shopping for jeggings (leggings that are jeans) and got manicures and pedicures. Later we got Pho for take out. We LOVE Pho, the Vietnamese soup of noodles, beef and vegetables.

Watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" after reading the book. Aleena's favorite.

Scott, Serene, Lille and Leena waiting to open presents.

Isaac with Tutu. He just opened up his present from Santa, a Woody doll.

Aleena got a whole bunch of presents, and I didn't take any pictures. She loved these shoes that Santa got her.

Serene and Lillie sharing a bowl.

Aleena gobbled up her soup. She loves it.

Mom luckily had huge bowls to house our Pho.

Isaac was the best at slurping his noodles. It was so cute.
