Halloween

We had a lovely Halloween. I made a chicken pot pie to look like a pumpkin since Aleena loves everything pumpkin lately. Then we went trick-or-treating with her grandma and grandpa around the neighborhood.

Aleena with her "Pumpkin".

Aleena's pretty butterfly costume that Aunt Aly made for cousin Claudia and then gave to us.

Flap your wings.

Getting ready to go trick-or-treating.

Walking the neighborhood.

Aleena's "scary" face. She loved being able to wear make-up.

Walking with Papa to the door. She loved receiving all the candy. We've been practicing all week to say, "Trick or treat". Instead she ran up to the door and said, "Candy!" Several people laughed. She did say, "Thank you", afterwards.

The Weissinger's house was pretty scary, but it didn't stop Aleena to get candy. Isaac even got his first lollipop.

Working on his lollipop. He was in heaven.

Isaac the Spider. Aunt Aly also made this costume. Cousins Claudia and Jackson wore it and then passed it on to us. Aleena wore it her first year.

Papa and Tutu.

Home after the night. Snuggling with Daddy. (Isaac looks like a thug)

I think the thug aspect of the costume makes it. Jack even had a black eye the year he was a spider: http://www.shnief.com/potd/potd.php?date=2007_10_31

The kids look great! I'm glad the costumes are getting 2nd and 3rd and 4th lives.
