Halloween Fun 2009

This Halloween was the best for me. Aleena loved it and I loved watching her enjoy herself. We did many things, in addition to going to Disneyland three times for the Halloween decorations, we had a Trunk or Treat, a Halloween Music Makers class and then Halloween night. It was all so much fun and Aleena got to wear her costume more than once! Aleena was the cutest little lady bug and she absolutely loved her costume. She'd hug it before she'd put it on and would cry if she had to take it off.

Aleena loved trick-or-treating. My parents came out to join the fun, and I'm glad they did. We had a great time. We really didn't think Aleena would understand what we were doing but she quickly got the hang of it. She loved walking door-to-door and getting candy. When her grandpa tried to help carry her bucket, she refused to let go. It was hilarious. She would not let anyone touch her candy. We stopped at a friend's house and were invited to come inside and eat homemade tamales and delicious champurrado (hot chocolate). What a treat for all of us!! Can't wait to see what next year brings.

Looks like a great holiday! Courtney keeps talking about Aleena and how she saw her, and gave her a hug, and her mom thought it was so cute... :) So good to see you!
