This was a fun place that I'd always wanted to visit. The admission is free every first Thursday of the month. I absolutely loved it. Beautiful gardens, breathtaking portraits (we saw the famous "Blue Boy" and "Pinky") and there was a fun "hands-on" science area for kids, but fun for adults too.
Aleena loved crawling around the gorgeous rose gardens and looking at the ducks. I loved the house and everything around it. It reminded me of living during the time of Jane Austen. I look forward to returning. We spent so much time outside we didn't even get a chance to look at the library.

This pond was in the Shakespeare garden.

Beautiful camellias everywhere.

The Queen and her Princess sitting on the royal throne.

Trying to take a family picture. I haven't climbed a tree in years.

The new addition was the Chinese garden. We preferred the Japanese garden. The architecture was amazing.

Leena roaring like a tiger in the bamboo jungle.
At the conservatory. It felt like I was in Hawaii; humid, warm and green.
Come back Grandmommy so we can return.
